Description This issue allows remote attackers to achieve remote code execution via insecure deserialization, if they are able to exploit a server-side template injection vulnerability in the way that Jira Server and Data Center use velocity templates.

Recommendations For versions prior to 7.13.0, update to version 7.13.0 or later. For versions 8.0.0 through 8.4.9, update to version 8.5.0 or later. For versions 8.6.0 through 8.8.0, update to version 8.8.1 or later.
