Description
The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Connector Framework component of the Enterprise Manager Base Platform. It allows a remote attacker to gain access to modify, add, or delete data, obtain unauthorized access to protected information, or cause a denial of service. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized access to critical data, complete access to all accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some accessible data.
Recommendations
For version 12.1.0.5, update to a newer version to mitigate the risk.
For version 13.2.0.0, update to a newer version to mitigate the risk.
For version 13.3.0.0, update to a newer version to mitigate the risk.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Connector Framework component until a patch is available.
