7.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions CentOS Web Panel version cwp-e17.0.9.8.923
Description This issue allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations. Authentication is not required to exploit this issue. The flaw exists within the ajax mail autoreply.php file. When parsing the email parameter, the process does not properly validate a user-supplied string before using it to construct SQL queries. An attacker can leverage this issue to disclose information in the context of root.
Recommendations For CentOS Web Panel version cwp-e17.0.9.8.923, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the ajax mail autoreply.php file until a patch is available. Restrict access to the email parameter in the affected API endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation.
