Description
The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Enterprise Config Management component. It allows a high-privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the Enterprise Manager Base Platform. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized access to critical data, complete access to all accessible data, unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some data, and the ability to cause a partial denial of service.
Recommendations
For version 12.1.0.5, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
For version 13.2.0.0, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
For version 13.3.0.0, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Enterprise Config Management component until a patch is available.
