Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
HUAWEI P30 smartphones versions prior to 10.1.0.135(C00E135R2P11)
Description
The issue is related to an improper authentication vulnerability. It involves a logic error when handling NFC work. An attacker must establish an NFC connection to the target phone and then perform a series of operations on it. Successful exploitation could allow a guest user to perform certain operations beyond their privileges.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 10.1.0.135(C00E135R2P11), update to version 10.1.0.135(C00E135R2P11) or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting NFC connections to trusted devices until a patch is applied.
Fix
