| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
iCMS version 7.0.14
Description
The issue allows attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands via shell metacharacters in the
DB NAME parameter to the "install/install.php" endpoint. This can potentially lead to the installation of malicious software.Recommendations
For iCMS version 7.0.14, avoid using the
DB NAME parameter in the "install/install.php" endpoint until the issue is resolved. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the install/install.php endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
