CVSS v3.1

4.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions DBHcms version 1.2.0
Description The issue is related to a reflected XSS vulnerability due to the lack of a security filter in the dbhcmsmodmod.selector.php file, specifically on line 108, for the return name parameter. A remote attacker with admin privileges can exploit this to hijack other users' sessions.
Recommendations For DBHcms version 1.2.0, consider temporarily restricting access to the mod.selector.php module until a patch is available. Avoid using the return name parameter in the affected module to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
