CVSS v3.1
4.3
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:L |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Oracle WebLogic Server versions 10.3.6.0.0, 12.1.3.0.0, 12.2.1.3.0, 12.2.1.4.0
Description
The issue is related to inadequate access control in the Console component of Oracle WebLogic Server, allowing an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the server. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and can result in a partial denial of service (partial DOS) of Oracle WebLogic Server.
Recommendations
For versions 10.3.6.0.0, 12.1.3.0.0, 12.2.1.3.0, and 12.2.1.4.0, consider restricting access to the Console component until a patch is available.
As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the HTTP protocol for the Console component to minimize the risk of exploitation.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
