Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Jenkins ElasTest Plugin versions 1.2.1 and earlier
Description
The issue concerns the storage of the server password in an unencrypted form within the global configuration file on the Jenkins controller. This allows users with access to the Jenkins controller file system to view the password.
Recommendations
For Jenkins ElasTest Plugin versions 1.2.1 and earlier, consider restricting access to the Jenkins controller file system to minimize the risk of password exposure. As a temporary workaround, limit user permissions to the global configuration file until a secure storage method is implemented.
