Description The issue is related to inadequate access control in the Oracle iSupport component of Oracle E-Business Suite. Exploitation of this issue can allow a remote attacker to modify, add, or delete data, or gain unauthorized access to protected information using the HTTPS protocol. Successful attacks may require human interaction and can significantly impact additional products, resulting in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle iSupport accessible data.
Recommendations For Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, update to a version that includes the necessary security patches to address the inadequate access control issue. For Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.9, apply the recommended security fixes to mitigate the risk of unauthorized access and data modification. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Oracle iSupport component until a patch is available.
