CVE-2020-2669

CVSS v3.1

8.2

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3 Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.9
Description The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Message Display component of Oracle Email Center. It allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTPS to compromise Oracle Email Center, potentially resulting in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Email Center accessible data. Successful attacks may also allow unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Oracle Email Center's accessible data. These attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and can significantly impact additional products.
Recommendations For versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. For versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.9, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Message Display component until a patch is available. Restrict access to sensitive data and implement additional monitoring to detect potential unauthorized access.
