CVE-2020-2670

CVSS v3.1

8.2

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3 Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.9
Description The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Oracle Email Center product, specifically in the Message Display component. It allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTPS to compromise Oracle Email Center, potentially leading to unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Email Center accessible data. The attack requires human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products. Successful exploitation can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Oracle Email Center's accessible data.
Recommendations For versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. For versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.9, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Message Display component until a patch is available. Restrict access to the Oracle Email Center product via HTTPS to minimize the risk of exploitation.
