Description The issue allows attackers to trigger an overwrite of a system-installed .desktop file by providing a .desktop file that contains Name= with path components.

Recommendations For versions prior to 1.0.3, update to version 1.0.3 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the ability to provide .desktop files with Name= containing path components until a patch is applied.
