CVE-2020-27025

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Android versions Android-11
Description The issue is related to a possible permission bypass due to an unsafe PendingIntent in EapFailureNotifier.java and SimRequiredNotifier.java. This could lead to local information disclosure with User execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
Recommendations For Android version Android-11, consider restricting access to the EapFailureNotifier.java and SimRequiredNotifier.java classes until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the use of PendingIntent in these classes to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
