Description
A potential buffer overflow exists due to integer overflow when parsing handler options due to wrong data type usage in operation. This issue affects various Qualcomm Snapdragon products, including Snapdragon Auto, Snapdragon Compute, Snapdragon Connectivity, Snapdragon Consumer Electronics Connectivity, Snapdragon Consumer IOT, Snapdragon Industrial IOT, Snapdragon Mobile, Snapdragon Voice & Music, Snapdragon Wearables, and Snapdragon Wired Infrastructure and Networking.
Recommendations
For each of the affected Qualcomm Snapdragon versions, apply the necessary patches or updates to resolve the integer overflow issue when parsing handler options.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
