| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
IBM Spectrum Protect Plus versions 10.1.0 through 10.1.5
Description
The issue concerns hard-coded credentials, such as a password or cryptographic key, used by IBM Spectrum Protect Plus for inbound authentication, outbound communication to external components, or encryption of internal data.
Recommendations
For IBM Spectrum Protect Plus versions 10.1.0 through 10.1.5, consider changing the hard-coded credentials to unique, secure credentials to prevent unauthorized access. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to the affected system to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
