Description The issue allows a remote attacker to conduct phishing attacks using an open redirect attack. By persuading a victim to visit a specially-crafted Web site, the attacker could exploit this to spoof the URL displayed, redirecting the user to a malicious Web site that appears trusted. This could allow the attacker to obtain highly sensitive information or conduct further attacks against the victim.

Recommendations For IBM Planning Analytics version 2.0, consider restricting access to external URLs to minimize the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, avoid using external links in the application until a fix is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
