CVE-2020-10220

CVSS v3.1

10

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions rConfig versions 3.9.4 and earlier
Description The issue is related to a lack of protection against SQL query structure exploitation in the commands.inc.php component of the rConfig utility for managing network device configurations. This can be exploited by a remote attacker using a specially crafted GET request, potentially allowing the execution of arbitrary commands. The web interface is prone to SQL injection via the searchColumn parameter.
Recommendations For rConfig versions 3.9.4 and earlier, consider disabling the searchColumn parameter in the commands.inc.php component as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the commands.inc.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
