| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Teltonika firmware version 00.02.02
Description
The issue is related to insufficient output sanitization, allowing a remote, authenticated attacker to conduct persistent cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. This is achieved by injecting malicious client-side code into the 'URL/ Host / Connection' form in the 'DATA TO SERVER' configuration section.
Recommendations
For Teltonika firmware version 00.02.02, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the 'DATA TO SERVER' configuration section until a patch is available. Avoid using the 'URL/ Host / Connection' form in this section to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
