VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions AMD Radeon DirectX 11 Driver atidxx64.dll version 26.20.15019.19000
Description A code execution issue exists in the Shader functionality. An attacker can trigger this by providing a specially crafted shader file, leading to code execution. This issue can be exploited from a HYPER-V guest using the RemoteFX feature, allowing code execution on the HYPER-V host within the rdvgm.exe process. It may also be theoretically exploitable from a web browser using webGL and webassembly.
Recommendations For AMD Radeon DirectX 11 Driver atidxx64.dll version 26.20.15019.19000, consider disabling the Shader functionality as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the RemoteFX feature to minimize the risk of exploitation from HYPER-V guests. Avoid using webGL and webassembly in web browsers that could potentially interact with the vulnerable driver until the issue is resolved.
