Description A SQL injection issue exists in the password reset functionality. The password stf email parameter in the "/opensis/ResetUserInfo.php" API endpoint is vulnerable to SQL injection, allowing an attacker to send a malicious HTTP request to exploit this issue.
Recommendations For OS4Ed openSIS version 7.3, consider restricting access to the password reset page /opensis/ResetUserInfo.php to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the password stf email parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
