High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Foxit Studio Photo version 3.6.6.916
Description The issue is related to the handling of TIF files and results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data. This can lead to a read past the end of an allocated structure, allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process. User interaction is required, where the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file to exploit this vulnerability.
Recommendations For Foxit Studio Photo version 3.6.6.916, consider avoiding the use of TIF file parsing functionality until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to potentially malicious TIF files to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
