Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
McAfee Endpoint Security (ENS) for Windows versions prior to 10.7.0 April 2020 Update
Description
The issue concerns accessing functionality not properly constrained by ACLs in the autorun start-up protection, allowing local users to manipulate certain parameters to delete or rename programs in the autorun key.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 10.7.0 April 2020 Update, update to version 10.7.0 April 2020 Update or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the autorun key to minimize the risk of exploitation.
Fix
Improper Privilege Management
