| Vector | AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
fsa versions through 0.5.1
Description
The issue allows for Command Injection. The
execGitCommand() function, specifically its first argument located in lib/rep.js#63, can be controlled by users without proper sanitization, enabling the injection of arbitrary commands.Recommendations
For versions through 0.5.1, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the
execGitCommand() function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the lib/rep.js module to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the first argument of execGitCommand() until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.Exploit
