Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
HUAWEI Mate 20 versions earlier than 10.0.0.188(C00E74R3P8)
Description
The issue is related to a buffer overflow in the Bluetooth module due to insufficient input validation. An unauthenticated attacker may craft Bluetooth messages after successful pairing, causing a buffer overflow. This could potentially lead to code execution.
Recommendations
For versions earlier than 10.0.0.188(C00E74R3P8), update to version 10.0.0.188(C00E74R3P8) or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the Bluetooth module until a patch is available. Restrict pairing with unknown devices to minimize the risk of exploitation.
Fix
