Description The issue is related to inadequate access control in the Message Display component of Oracle Email Center, part of the Oracle E-Business Suite. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information or to modify, add, or delete data using the HTTP protocol. Successful attacks may require interaction from someone other than the attacker and can significantly impact additional products, potentially leading to unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all accessible data in Oracle Email Center.

Recommendations For Oracle Email Center versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. For Oracle Email Center versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.9, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Message Display component until a patch is available.
