VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.1.3 and 12.2.3 through 12.2.9
Description The issue is related to inadequate access control in the Diagnostics component of the Oracle Applications Framework. It can be exploited by a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to sensitive information or to modify, add, or delete data using the HTTP protocol. Successful attacks may require human interaction and can significantly impact additional products, potentially leading to unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all accessible data within the Oracle Applications Framework.
Recommendations For versions 12.1.3 and 12.2.3 through 12.2.9, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue to prevent exploitation. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Diagnostics component until a patch is available. Avoid using the HTTP protocol for sensitive operations until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
