Description The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Core component of Oracle VM VirtualBox, which can be exploited by a low-privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Oracle VM VirtualBox executes. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and can result in a partial denial of service (partial DOS) of Oracle VM VirtualBox.
Recommendations For Oracle VM VirtualBox versions prior to 5.2.40, update to version 5.2.40 or later. For Oracle VM VirtualBox versions prior to 6.0.20, update to version 6.0.20 or later. For Oracle VM VirtualBox versions prior to 6.1.6, update to version 6.1.6 or later.
