Description The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the Oracle Scripting product, allowing an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Scripting. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products. This can result in unauthorized access to critical data, complete access to all Oracle Scripting accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Oracle Scripting accessible data.

Recommendations For Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. For Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.9, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Miscellaneous component of Oracle Scripting to minimize the risk of exploitation.
