Description The issue exists due to insufficient input validation in a subcomponent of the Oracle iSupport component. This allows a remote attacker to potentially gain read, modify, add, or delete access to data via HTTP requests. Successful attacks may require human interaction and can significantly impact additional products, resulting in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some accessible data.

Recommendations For versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, consider restricting access to the vulnerable subcomponent of the Oracle iSupport component until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limit the use of HTTP requests to minimize the risk of exploitation. Additionally, ensure that all inputs are thoroughly validated to prevent unauthorized access.
