CVE-2020-2855

CVSS v3.1

8.2

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3
Description The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Admin component of the Oracle iSupport product. It allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle iSupport, potentially leading to unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle iSupport accessible data. The attack requires human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products. Successful exploitation can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Oracle iSupport accessible data.
Recommendations For versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, consider restricting access to the Admin component of Oracle iSupport to minimize the risk of exploitation until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limit the use of HTTP protocol for accessing Oracle iSupport. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
