CVE-2020-2823

CVSS v3.1

8.2

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3
Description The issue is related to inadequate access control in the Notes component of the Oracle Common Applications Calendar product. It allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the Oracle Common Applications Calendar, potentially leading to unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some accessible data. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker.
Recommendations For versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, consider restricting access to the Notes component until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limit the use of the HTTP protocol to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
