Description A vulnerability has been identified that could cause a Denial-of-Service condition of the web server. This issue is related to an uncontrolled resource consumption (exhaustion) that can be exploited by sending specially crafted packets to port 443/tcp of affected devices, potentially allowing a remote attacker to cause a service disruption.
Recommendations For SCALANCE S602 versions 3.0 through 4.0, consider restricting access to port 443/tcp as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. For SCALANCE S612 versions 3.0 through 4.0, consider restricting access to port 443/tcp as a temporary workaround until a patch is available.
