CVSS v3.1
5.4
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Oracle Access Manager versions 11.1.2.3.0 and 12.2.1.3.0
Description
The issue is related to insufficient access control in the SSO Engine component of Oracle Access Manager, allowing a low-privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the system. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products. This can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Oracle Access Manager's accessible data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle Access Manager's accessible data.
Recommendations
For version 11.1.2.3.0, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
For version 12.2.1.3.0, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the SSO Engine component until a patch is available.
