| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Oracle WebLogic Server versions 10.3.6.0.0 through 12.2.1.4.0
Description
The issue is related to insufficient access controls in the Console component of Oracle WebLogic Server, allowing an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the server. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle WebLogic Server accessible data.
Recommendations
For versions 10.3.6.0.0, 12.1.3.0.0, 12.2.1.3.0, and 12.2.1.4.0, consider restricting access to the Console component until a patch is available.
As a temporary workaround, limit network access to the server via HTTP to minimize the risk of exploitation.
Avoid using the HTTP protocol for sensitive operations until the issue is resolved.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
