Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Oracle HTTP Server version 11.1.1.9.0
Description
The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Web Listener component of Oracle HTTP Server, allowing an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the server. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some Oracle HTTP Server accessible data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle HTTP Server accessible data.
Recommendations
For Oracle HTTP Server version 11.1.1.9.0, consider restricting access to the Web Listener component until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limit the use of HTTP protocol to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
