Description A denial of service issue exists due to improper handling of specially crafted network packets by Hyper-V on Windows Server. To exploit this, an attacker would send these packets to the Hyper-V Server. The security update resolves the conditions under which Hyper-V fails to handle these packets properly. The vulnerability is related to unsafe privilege management in the Hyper-V system, allowing a remote attacker to cause a denial of service by sending specially crafted network packets.
