Description The issue is related to insecure privilege management in the Microsoft Component Object Model (COM) of Windows operating systems. It allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code using a specially crafted application. The vulnerability exists when a COM client uses special case IIDs. There is also a security-feature bypass vulnerability that allows attackers to affect the system.
