CVE-2020-14690

CVSS v3.1

8.2

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition versions 5.5.0.0.0 through 12.2.1.4.0
Description The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Analytics Actions component of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to gain read, modify, add, or delete access to data using the HTTP protocol. Successful attacks may require human interaction and can significantly impact additional products, resulting in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some accessible data.
Recommendations For versions 5.5.0.0.0, 11.1.1.9.0, 12.2.1.3.0, and 12.2.1.4.0, consider restricting access to the Analytics Actions component until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the Analytics Actions component to minimize the risk of exploitation. Restrict access to the vulnerable Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition to minimize the risk of unauthorized data access.
