CVE-2020-14667

CVSS v3.1

7.6

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.1.3 and 12.2.3 through 12.2.9
Description The issue is related to insufficient access controls in the Preferences component of Oracle CRM Technical Foundation, allowing a low-privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the system. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and can significantly impact additional products. This can result in unauthorized access to critical data, complete access to all accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some accessible data.
Recommendations For versions 12.1.3 and 12.2.3 through 12.2.9, consider restricting access to the Preferences component until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limit the use of HTTP protocol for remote access to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid relying on user interaction for critical operations in the affected Oracle CRM Technical Foundation component.
