Description The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the Web Access component of the Oracle Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management application. This can allow a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information or modify, add, or delete data. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some accessible data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of accessible data.

Recommendations For versions 16.1.0.0 through 16.2.20.1, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. For versions 17.1.0.0 through 17.12.17.1, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. For versions 18.1.0.0 through 18.8.18.2, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Web Access component until a patch is available.
