CVE-2020-6447

CVSS v2.0

9.3

High

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Google Chrome versions prior to 81.0.4044.92
Description The issue is related to an inappropriate implementation in developer tools, allowing a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. This could lead to unauthorized access to confidential data, disruption of data integrity, and denial of service. The attacker must convince the user to use devtools to exploit this issue.
Recommendations For versions prior to 81.0.4044.92, update to version 81.0.4044.92 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of developer tools until the update is applied.
