CVE-2020-6467

CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Google Chrome versions prior to 83.0.4103.61
Description The issue is related to the use of memory after it has been freed in the WebRTC technology implementation in Google Chrome. This could allow a remote attacker to access confidential data, compromise its integrity, and cause a denial of service through a specially crafted HTML page. The exploitation may lead to heap corruption.
Recommendations For versions prior to 83.0.4103.61, update to version 83.0.4103.61 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to WebRTC functionality until the update is applied.
