Description The issue is related to the Oracle Fusion Middleware MapViewer product, specifically the Tile Server component. It allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Fusion Middleware MapViewer. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products. The attacks can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Oracle Fusion Middleware MapViewer's accessible data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle Fusion Middleware MapViewer's accessible data.

Recommendations For versions 12.2.1.3.0 and 12.2.1.4.0, consider restricting access to the Tile Server component until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the HTTP access to the Oracle Fusion Middleware MapViewer product until a fix is provided. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
