CVE-2020-14534

CVSS v2.0

8.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.2.9
Description: The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the Popups component of the Oracle Applications Framework. It allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the framework, potentially leading to unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some accessible data. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker.
Recommendations: For version 12.2.9, consider restricting access to the Popups component until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the Popups component in the Oracle Applications Framework to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
