Description:
The issue allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTPS to compromise Primavera Portfolio Management. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Primavera Portfolio Management accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Primavera Portfolio Management accessible data. This is due to insufficient input validation in the Web Server component.
Recommendations:
For versions 16.1.0.0 through 16.1.5.1, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk.
For versions 18.0.0.0 through 18.0.2.0, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk.
For version 19.0.0.0, update to a newer version to mitigate the risk.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Web Server component until a patch is available.
