CVE-2020-14554

CVSS v3.1

4.7

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:N/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.1.3 and 12.2.3 through 12.2.8
Description: The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the Diagnostics subcomponent of the Oracle Application Object Library. It allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the Oracle Application Object Library, potentially leading to unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of the accessible data. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products.
Recommendations: For versions 12.1.3 and 12.2.3 through 12.2.8, consider restricting access to the Diagnostics subcomponent until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the use of HTTP protocol for the Diagnostics subcomponent to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
