VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Windows (affected versions not specified)
Description: A local elevation of privilege issue exists in how splwow64.exe handles certain calls, allowing an attacker to elevate privileges on an affected system from low-integrity to medium-integrity. This issue does not allow arbitrary code execution by itself but could enable arbitrary code to be run if combined with another vulnerability, such as a remote code execution vulnerability or another elevation of privilege vulnerability, that can leverage the elevated privileges for code execution.
Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
