Description:
The issue is related to errors in handling memory objects in the Microsoft Store Runtime component of Microsoft Windows operating systems. This can be exploited by an attacker to elevate their privileges using a specially crafted application. To exploit this, an attacker would first need to gain execution on the victim system and then run the crafted application. The security update corrects how the Microsoft Store Runtime handles memory.
