VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Windows (affected versions not specified)
Description: The issue is related to the win32k component of the Windows operating system, which improperly handles kernel information, leading to an information disclosure. This could allow an attacker to obtain information that could further compromise the system. To exploit this, an attacker would need to either log on locally to an affected system or convince a locally authenticated user to execute a specially crafted application.
Recommendations: To resolve the issue, apply the security update that corrects how win32k handles objects in memory. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
